Meet the Author! at the Mullis Center

The San Juan Islands is home to lots of talent--from authors to sculptors to painters to jewelry designers, and so much more. If you would like to meet local authors, chat about (our) books, mingle with folks in the community, and oh yeah...sip wine and nibble on cheese, please stop by! We're cooking up a fun way to introduce you to our stories, called Book Hook-up. Think of it as speed dating for bibliophiles. This should be really fun!

Farmer's Market
When: 1st Saturday of every month beginning 1/05/19 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM

The Authors of the San Juan Islands were received so well during our first appearance at the Farmer's Market that we've been invited to participate on a regular basis. How cool is that?! Not all titles will be offered each month due to availability and space, so please stop by our table to see who's books are present, and of course, meet with the authors representing the group. I will be there 4/6/19 but my books will be there even if I'm not. Cheers!

The second and fourth Saturday of each month, acoustic musicians, acapella singers, poets, short storytellers are invited to share their talent. Sign up at 6:30 PM. Free for all ages!

FISHING WITH HYENAS was December's pick for Watermark's Book Club. Thursday, 1/03/19 I got to meet the members who read my book, sign their copies, and connect with new readers. What an honor!
The next day was the town's Art Walk.
The first Friday of each month, business owners in Anacortes open their doors to art enthusiasts who mingle, sip wine or tea, nibble on locally made treats, and shop for books, paintings, and much more.

I’m excited to start the year off right by meeting the LaConnor Rotary Club at their monthly meeting! I’ll read excerpts from Fishing With Hyenas, share a slideshow, chat with the group, and I’ll have plenty of books available for purchase.
